Scalence Lab provides custom website design and development for small and service-based businesses. All work is AI-assisted and human-directed — we use AI-enhanced tools to support the build process, with human strategy, design judgment, and quality review applied throughout every project.
Every project begins with a free discovery call. After that call, we send a written quote confirming scope and price before any work starts. Work begins once the deposit is received and the project scope is agreed upon.
A 50% deposit is required before work begins. The remaining 50% is due when the project is complete and ready to launch. Final files are delivered and the site goes live upon receipt of full payment. Payment details are arranged directly with the client after the quote is approved. All prices are in USD.
Deposits are non-refundable once work has started, as they cover reserved project time, initial planning, setup, and design work. If you need to cancel before work has begun, a refund may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out as soon as possible if your plans change.
Unlimited revisions are included during the active project phase. This covers changes to design, layout, copy, or structure within the agreed scope. Requests that expand the scope — such as adding pages or features not included in the original quote — will be quoted separately before any additional work is performed.
Upon full payment, you own all files, code, and content produced for your project. We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing before the project is complete.
You are responsible for providing accurate business information, timely feedback during the review process, and any content (text, images, branding) needed to complete the project. Significant delays caused by a lack of client response may affect the delivery timeline.
If a project is inactive for 30 or more days due to no client response after reasonable follow-up, Scalence Lab reserves the right to pause or close the project. Restarting may require a new deposit or an updated quote depending on how much time has passed.
We build to a high standard and review every site before launch. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes, search rankings, or revenue results from a completed website.

This website does not use cookies, analytics software, advertising trackers, or pixels. We do not track your browsing behavior. If analytics are added in the future, this policy will be updated before they go live.
Contact form submissions are kept only as long as needed to communicate with you about your project. We do not maintain a mailing list or send unsolicited emails.
